    When I perform this on my left leg (right leg against the wall) I feel the burn in that left glute, but when I try to work on the right side (left left leg against the wall) I can't seem to feel it in the right glute. instead I am feeling it in the left/wall glute (and that one is getting hella burned out). any tips?

    If you had a small group class of 4 people and a small studio where you don't have multiple pieces of equipment, would you have 2 people double up?

      Yes, just like with larger groups we split the group and each one starts on a different exercises (usually 3 exercises in a block).

    What do you think about athletic trainers like Dan Fichter using ultra long isometrics and eccentrics (like 2 minutes per rep)? It's normal to hold a plank that long, why not others as long as it's safe?

      For me "long isometrics" are around a minute. Preferably I'd load it heavier and go from 30-45 seconds if its to build connective tissue or muscle. Look into Alex Natera's work on isometrics as I think it's some of the best in the world.

    I understand the points/arguments, but, isn't it true that only HIIT cardio increases VO2max, not Zone 2 cardio? And, there is a ton of evidence that increasing VO2max is correlated not only with lifespan but also with healthspan... Maybe do a video with Joel on this (VO2max -- how to do it, how much, etc, and also HIIT cardio), comparing & contrasting it with Zone 2 cardio...?

      ​@shantanusapru Dr. Andy Galpin recently did long form videos on VO2max. He even shared a program by Joel. Zone 2 helps increase stroke volume, and SV is a contributor to VO2max.

      We explain it in the video. It can be different based on your recovery. This is why having a heart rate monitor (I love Morpheus) is so beneficial.

      Yes in general 60-70% but different devices have different percentages. Also, depending on the day (your recovery, sleep, stress, HRV) it may be more or less. Think of a workout you’ve done that one day you felt good doing it and another exhausted (same workout), you would hit a different zone faster based on other factors
